Description

The methodology proposed focuses on assessing the core sectors and cross-cutting themes against the OECD/DAC criteria of relevance/appropriateness, sustainability/connectedness, coherence, coverage, coordination, protection, efficiency effectiveness and impact. These criteria are used to evaluate specific interventions rather than strategic areas of focus. The review is a desk based study using dcoumentation, internal and external key informant interviews, focus groups and questionnaires/surveys. A briefing meeting was conducted in Geneva.

Description

Moneval are assisting AMC to complete its Corporate Responsibility Report based on G3.1 guidelines (the third generation of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Guidelines as luanched on 23 March 2011). Moneval are supporting the movement towards a "C Grade" according to GRI reporting standards to ensure their CR complies with the standard disclosure profile. AMC are the leading domestic mobile service provider in Albania with around 2 million customers and 45% of the market.

Moneval solutions was selected to help prepare the 2011 CR as well aiming to raise the grade awarded to AMC from a "C" to a "B" category by GRI.

Description

Moneval Solutions were contracted by a commerical based company to provide a comprehensive analysis of the cotton sector in Uzbekistan. This was a desk based study to look at all elements of the cotton value chain from production thriough to processing and export.  Elements such as farming practices, inputs, problems and challenges were reviewed and presented in excel as well as powerpoint format. Interviews with key global players were undertaken.

Description

The objective of the impact evaluation was to assess the livelihood portfolio of the EU co-financed NGO projects in India in terms of its targeting, impact, sustainability, replicability and pro-poor community based approaches. The impact evaluation looked at the quality of the local processes initiated towards community mobilization and empowerment, improving the management of natural resources, adoption of proven sustainable agricultural technologies, raising the income of rural poor through market based approaches (on-farm, off-farm and non-farm), mainstreaming rural development interventions by linking with government schemes / programmes.
